My linear theory has a progressive stage exploring the geometric
forms a single continuous line can define. Art is a place
where one can go for a minute and leave the real world behind.
It is one of art's greatest pleasures. One of my greatest
joys is making these little worlds. The layering of shape,
movement, color to define the emotional and physical aspects
of these little retreats you're invited to. Part of the general
concept is much like that of a mandela. The viewer participates
with the image. There are many ways to perceive it. One could
follow the line, where does it go?, what does it do?. One
could enjoy the atmosphere of color or the shapes. The comfort
of round shapes and the alarm of sharp ones.
