Art work by Grace Baggot can be viewed here. Her water colors depict
her modern, female perspective of the human condition using her
study of ancient mythologies and classical aesthetics to do it.
There are articles here written by Grace
on her art work and water-gilding.
Italy is her home for half the year, immersed
in the agrarian culture left behind by the ancients. A cultural
paradise called Parco Nazionale di Cilento in southern Italy. Many
of the towns crusting the ridges of these Alburni Mountains on the
Mediterranean Sea have won international recognition
for cultural and ecological purity. There are so many ruins near
by like Paestum & Velia that the classics
of Western Civ seem to actually litter this mountainous gem of a
coastline. The Amalfi Coast, Pompei, Capri, Sorrento, the beaches
of Camerota and other delights orbit the area. Close enough to be
in touch, far enough to be in peace from the tourism.
Contacts for accommodations and touring the area are Grace's pleasure
to dispense or arrange.
